The Future Face of Environment & Energy Leadership
How it works...
Participants will be divided into small teams (maximum of 4 teams of 5 participants) during the session. Teams are assembled to ensure participants share similar levels of job scope, experience and interest
all while protecting the non-competitive matching among members. Sessions will be held quarterly. One individual coaching session via phone is a prerequisite to prepare each participant with focus on their goalsand the Paragon peer coaching tool kit. This will ensure the time for each session is maximized to net the greatest individual ROI.
Sessions are facilitated by a Paragon Executive Coach and comprised of the following three learning features:
• Personal Leadership Challenge: each session allows participants to seek peer input on one of their individual ‘real time’ business goals or leadership challenges -- a key element of the round table format is advancing business results. All participants complete one tele-coaching session prior to the session to accelerate the effectiveness of the peer coaching technique and focus on individual goals (included in session fee).
• Peer Coaching: a structured approach to engaging peer coaching and feedback tailored to each participant’s goals
• Overcoming Michigan’s Environment & Energy Leadership Challenge: a sharing of leading edge energy information within a specific field of energy, featuring one or more top energy executives, and culminates with rigorous all-group dialogue and Q & A
Agenda:
1:00 pm - 4:30 pm Peer Coaching Round Tables
4:30 pm - 6:15 pm Networking & Dinner
6:15 pm - 7:15 pm Executive Guest round table discussion
Benefits: Transforming the way we use, deliver, manufacture, develop and market clean energy is one of Michigan's promising economic and environmental opportunities in 2010 and beyond.
Unquestionably, strong leadership is one of the most critical factors in accelerating the energy economy and is a requirement for successfully maneuvering within Michigan's rigorous economic and political climate. Through coach and peer driven support, women leaders in energy-related businesses will accelerate their success, challenge each other to make effective business decisions, improve communications and leadership skills and build peer relationships - in an energy industry-focused setting.
